COMMUNITY YOUTH MEDIA: – was geht?! magazine

WAS GEHT?! = WHAT'S UP? WHAT'S GOING ON?

But also: "Whats possible?"

Arts & Culture, Politics & Society – Berlin youths with refugee and immigrant biographies founded WAS GEHT?! Magazine in 2018 to support each other and to make (post-)migration experiences and BIPoC perspectives visible.

Instead of stereotypical media portrayals, WAS GEHT?! presents their peers as creative, active and engaged in civil society. A print magazine, TV shows, billboards and short films: "We don't want others to report on us, we create our own media - by using our own images and our imagination."
