THE GRAYING OF AIDS: – about the project
The Graying of AIDS project evolved out of an initial multimedia reportage researched and produced for TIME Magazine in 2005.
In 2010, with the support of an Open Society Foundation Audience Engagement Grant, public health educator Naomi Schegloff, MPH, came on board and the project produced new materials until 2016, including in-depth research on aging and HIV discrimination in the United States, as well as various public health education campaigns. A spin-off global oral history archive, Stories From An Aging Pandemic, was created from 2012 until 2016.
