The Graying of AIDS story published in China
It’s wonderful to see that the original body of work from The Graying of AIDS project, created almost ten years ago for Time Magazine, is still finding new audiences – most recently in Spring Breeze Magazine / China Press for Persons with Disability.
I’m told that the description reads, “Drawing from interviews and photography works, this article unfolds many life stories of aging AIDS patients in United States to Chinese audience. While such story is not widely been told in China where talking about AIDS is still a taboo, the article vividly paints a mosaic picture of life stories of aging AIDS patients in United States, bringing the issue to Chinese audience to contemplate what it means to be an AIDS patient.”
